Christmas Will Come Again

Here we are! 12 days later! And we’re at our 12th and final song of our Christmas countdown. So Merry Christmas to all of you! Thank you so much for following along and celebrating the holiday season with us. We know that it may be sad that the season is coming to a close, but Christmas always comes back next year.

We’ll see you soon. In fact, we’ll still have something new for you on Monday! Likely something with much lower sound quality, but it will be fun nonetheless! Merry Christmas, everyone! <3

12 Days of Chocolate

Here in Mudville, we’re not just celebrating the 12 days of Christmas, but the 12 days of chocolate! We don’t love getting a bunch of birds in December, so we thought we’d update an old classic with a more appetizing set of presents to give your true love this Christmas. Enjoy your Christmas Eve with these tasty treats!

A Freezing Christmas Carol (So Cold)

We love caroling, but we also love not freezing to death! Though caroling is always incredibly fun, it’s also often accompanied by the unbearable cold, which often keeps us barely on the edge of sanity as we struggle to juggle the task of singing in tune and not having our lips fall off. So on our tenth day of Christmas, we present you with our freezing Christmas carol.

How to Wrap A Present (The Christmas Wrap)

We had no idea how to wrap a present before, but then we learned, and now we have a new Christmasy rap song to teach other people how to wrap presents. It’s called the Christmas Wrap and the steps are easy to remember! Before you know it, you’ll be a master of present wrapping.

A Very X-Men X-Mas

How would the X-Men celebrate X-Mas? We both decided to do a little roleplay as Magneto and Professor X to see how these two mutants put aside their differences on X-Mas and come together.

Receipt Navidad

Feliz Navidad, everyone! It’s time to buy gifts for your loved ones, and we understand! It’s tough sometimes. But you won’t have to worry so long as you remember to include the receipt with your gift. That’s Mudville’s golden rule and we’re sticking to it. Marvel at both our advice and at our mastery of the Spanish language.

Now We Have Snow Again

We both went to the University of Michigan, so we’re used to very cold winters and while we don’t miss the cold, we do miss having a White Christmas. In Southern California, that just doesn’t happen, so instead of just dreaming for a white Christmas, we’ve got to leave for a white Christmas.

Happy holidays! This Christmas Eve, we have a short little cartoon animated by Matt Kiel that we made for the Nerdist School! We all know the story of Frosty the Snowman, but not everyone knows about Frosty the Frost Giant, enemy of Thor, bringer of destruction, and best friend to the little boy who brought him to life.

Our First Christmas Song: Christmas With You (And Home Alone 2)

[youtube=http://youtu.be/ddD3r1NKxn4]

A year ago today, Greg and I recorded our very first Christmas song about one of our very favorite movies, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York. We know that it might be an unpopular opinion that the second movie is better than the first, but it is our opinion, and we will stick with it until the very end.

He’s lost in NEW YORK. He sets up traps in an ABANDONED NEW YORK APARTMENT. He saves a toy store! This is the movie with the turtledoves! With the Talk Boy! With Pigeon Lady! Yes, that first movie was a fun time, but it mainly existed so that the awesome sequel could exist.

As the shirt that Greg had made for me reads: SOMETIMES SEQUELS ARE BETTER.

What’s most important here is that this song is very near and dear to us here in Mudville. It is the story of our friendship and how our traditions bring us together. No matter where we are, we will always have Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.

Enjoy this classic Christmas tune from Mudville!

It’s A New Christmas Song! Happy Holiday (Turkey Sandwich) to You!

It’s A New Christmas Song! Happy Holiday (Turkey Sandwich) to You!

The holiday season is upon us and we all know what that means. Last-minute shopping, spending time with family, and STUFFING OUR FACES WITH STUFFING. That’s right! It’s the time of the Holiday Turkey Sandwich at Earl of Sandwich! This is truly a sandwich that comes highly recommended from Minhdzuy. This is Minhdzuy writing this. Hi.

I love this sandwich so much that I asked Greg if we could write a whole song about just how great it is and he agreed. Upon tasting it, Greg agreed that it was top notch because he is a caring human being, after all. Even our DP, Mark, got to taste the Holiday Turkey for the first time and I got to witness the magic of that first bite once again.

For a little bit of background, I used to work at Disney World in Florida, and as any cast member down there knows, Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney is both delicious AND affordable! I’d often frequent the place, getting the Hawaiian BBQ sandwich. Yes, it was delicious, but it wasn’t until I left Florida and returned on a short visit that I got the Holiday Turkey sandwich. I was in heaven and I didn’t understand how I’d missed out on such a great sandwich for so long.

I was lucky enough to find the Earl of Sandwich at the Downtown Disney in Anaheim, and I’ve been frequenting the place ever since! Though the Holiday Turkey Sandwich tastes like the holidays, it is available all year, which makes me a very happy, well-fed boy.

If you haven’t had the chance to try it, I urge you to do so! You will not regret it! But for now, Greg and I would like to wish you all a Happy Holiday Turkey Sandwich! Be safe, be merry, and be joyful!
